Marx's schism... an alternate ending
Herr Marx has announced that even if the October 2015 synod (on sex)... and bergoglio? ... upholds the Catholic doctrine that the divorced and living in sin cannot receive communion, that the German Church will not obey...
... did he mean to say "dissent"? ...
... back on topic... is this declaring a "schism"? ...
... well not according to the post-Vatican 2 definition of "schism"...
... when most of the bishops of the world defied Vatican pronouncemens on anti-birth drugs... were they in "schism"? ...
... not according to the V2 definition... by V2 standards they were... "in union with Rome"... and even today they remain... "in union with Rome"...
... maybe "in union with Rome" is synonymous with "schism" under the new V2 rules? ...
... or is it just that "there are no rules" anymore? ...
... God has something different to say about that... now and at the hour of our death... Amen.
